Brothers of Section S-4, In April, our section saw the final Section Conferences/Conclaves for the respective former sections. Section 4N's conclave was hosted by Alapaha Lodge at Camp Patten and was an awesome experience for all that atended. During that conclave Patrick Burnett from Pilthlako Lodge was elected as Section Vice-Chief and will continue to serve Section S-4 as such. Section 4S's conference was held at Camp Flying Eagle and hosted by Osceola Lodge and was also a roaring success. During that conference, 4 new officers were elected to serve not only Section 4S for it's last month and a half of existance, but also our new section. They were Sean Ferrier of Osceola Lodge (Vice Chief), Joe Charbonnet of Echockotee Lodge (Secretary), Andrew Selfof Echockotee Lodge (Historian) and myself also from Echockotee Lodge as your new Chief. I'd like to welcome all 4 of my fellow officers to their posts and all of you to Section S-4, the mightiest Section in not only the Southern Region, but in the order as a whole! With your help, the remainder of 2008 will be a very successful year. ArrowCorps5 is a memory now and what a memory it is. I personally attended the George Washington and Jefferson National Forests project and I must admit it was a thrilling and rewarding experience. The amount of work accomplished by you my brothers was tremendous and awe inspiring. I also couldn't help but notice the number of S-4 brothers I met everywhere I went during my week in Virginia. This too was humbling to realize how many of us were willing to give of our time, monet and effort to contribute to this outstanding and worthwhile project. As the remainder of this year progresses I look forward to meeting more and more of you and sharing our experiences, as well as our outlook for the future. Yours in Brotherhood,
